Ken Doyle

With two decades of professional experience in federal public policy development and government relations, Ken brings a deep knowledge of the history of Canada's college applied research and innovation ecosystem. Since 2016, Ken has served as the Executive Director of Tech-Access Canada, the national network of Canada's Technology Access Centres (TACs).

Ken's knowledge and experience, his management skills, and positive attitude make him a strong leader for the TAC network. Ken is responsible for ensuring the network achieves its mandate of facilitating the sharing of best practices between member TACs, and promoting the adoption of comparable service excellence standards. Based in Ottawa and originally from New Brunswick, Ken held progressively senior roles within different postsecondary associations. Ken holds a master's degree in Public Policy and Administration, a bachelor's degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management, and the CAE designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

As Director of Stakeholder Relations and Engagement, Michelle is responsible for maintaining positive stakeholder relationships, providing excellent support to TAC members, and overseeing events and webinars. She also manages strategic planning activities and organizational performance evaluation. She leads the delivery of events and webinars for members to facilitate the sharing and adoption of best practices and service excellence standards to enhance the performance of their centres. She also promotes the TAC network with external stakeholders and key players in Canada’s innovation ecosystem to build new partnerships and raise awareness among SMEs in key industry sectors.

Michelle has over ten years of experience in leading high-profile corporate events and research programs, as well as developing new business opportunities and partnerships. She is passionate about helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and advancing business innovation in Canada. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Administration and Bachelor of Commerce in Honours Marketing from the University of Ottawa.

As Tech-Access Canada’s Project Manager, Laura manages the organization’s special projects and programs. Currently she’s excited to lead the Boomerang-o-vation program, which offers recent graduates unparalleled opportunity to gain experience in the innovation ecosystem. Laura is also responsible for Tech-Access Canada’s federal advocacy, strategic development, and public-facing communications.

Laura brings over a decade worth of experience spanning the private, public, and non-profit sectors. She was previously the Executive Director of several national non-profit surgical associations and has managed operations and communications at an engineering firm. Laura holds a master’s degree in Communication, a bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management, and the Certified Association Executive designation from the Canadian Society of Association Executives.

As Team Lead of Events and Programs, Bineta is responsible for the Tech Access Canada programs and events for the members.

She leads the Interactive program and the Jumpball Initiative including portal management, budget allocation, and supports TACs and clients for a friendly experience.

She also leads the events with the execution, logistics, and delivery of the annual Best Practice Forum with the Director of Stakeholder Relations and Engagement, and webinars online for the members.

Bineta has over eight years of experience in event and program management, she has previously worked for large multinational companies delivering events in Canada, the US, and France. Fully bilingual, she is passionate about leading high-profile events. She holds an MBA in Event Marketing and Cultural Communication from INSEEC – Sup de Pub, School of Communication in Paris, France.

As Financial Administrator, Yuly is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of Tech-Access Canada while aligning them with the core objectives. She provides a clear financial roadmap to achieve the goals using data-driven strategies, accounting principles, and strong business acumen. She also manages budgets that reflect the strategic priorities and allows Tech-Access Canada to invest in R&D projects, as well as support the valuable work of the TAC network.

Yuly has over 15 years of experience in finance, customer service strategy and business development fields. Before joining the nonprofit sector she worked for different industries such as banking, construction and gaming, companies located in Canada, Australia and Colombia. She utilizes her problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure that projects stay on track. Yuly holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the La Salle University of Colombia.
